Flagler County was created in 1917 by Henry Morrision Flagner, who built the Florida East Coast Railway.   Approximately 50,000 residents call this piece of tranquility "home".  It's located 3 miles east of Exit 91, I-95 interchange. Flagler Beach is 68 miles south of Jacksonville, 31 miles south of historic St. Augustine, and 20 miles north of Daytona Beach.
